What we do
Six programs, one goal: a resilient Mwiki
Every program starts from a need residents raised themselves, at village barazas or through our volunteer network, and is carried out with local schools, chiefs and the Kasarani Sub-County social development office.
Youth Mentorship & Holiday Camps
Structured holiday camps and after-school mentorship for teenagers, pairing them with trained volunteers on life skills, career guidance and leadership.
Environmental Clean-Ups
Monthly clean-up drives along the Kasarani river corridor and Mwiki's public spaces, paired with tree planting and waste-sorting education.
Food Security & Household Support
Emergency food baskets and referrals for the most vulnerable households, identified together with village elders and community health volunteers.
Health & Sanitation Outreach
Free health talks, referrals and sanitation campaigns run with Kasarani Sub-County health volunteers, focused on maternal health and hygiene.
Digital & Financial Literacy
Basic computer and mobile-money classes for youth and small traders, plus table-banking support for women's savings groups.
School Support
Learning materials, mentorship and referrals for bursary programs to keep Mwiki children in school through primary and secondary level.
